Citizens House offers modern facilities for use by a wide range of organisations and individuals. We have rooms that can accommodate all group sizes.
Most rooms have the use of technology which includes state of the art monitors and fast internet access to aid the delivery of content. Please find detailed below the types of rooms we offer, their facilities and the relevant cost.

Hall
The hall can accommodate a substantial number of people set out in either a conference or theatre style arrangement. The room provides a state of the art 86 inch Vivitek Novotouch interactive display with electrical height adjustment. The monitor includes a full range of inputs, ‘casting’ facilities for laptops, iPads and mobile phones and internet connectivity.
For those users who prefer to use a projector, a retractable screen is also available.
We have also installed an induction loop system for attendees who require hearing support, and this can be used either through the monitor or stand alone.

Conservatory
The relaxed open seating area of our conservatory provides approximately 36 square metres of useable space. There is a wall mounted 43 inch TV Monitor with inputs at a lower level for ease of access should this be required.
Conservatory and Hall
For groups that wish to use the main hall but also require a ‘break out’ area, the conservatory being next to the hall is a good option. The cost of hiring both the hall and the conservatory is discounted appropriately.

Room 1
A quiet and reflective space for smaller meetings or for meetings on a ‘one to one’ basis. There again a 43 inch Monitor is available for use by room users.
Room 2
Room 2 is good size room for small to medium sized groups.
Cost per hour: £10.00
Dimensions: 4 metres by 3.8 metres
Room 3
Room 3, being slightly larger than Room 2, includes a start of the art Vivitek Novotouch 65 inch monitor with the same functions and facilities as the large monitor in the main hall.
Room 3 cost per hour: £10.00
Dimensions-4 metres by 4.6 metres
Rooms 2 & 3
Rooms 2 and 3 can be combined to form a pleasant small hall with a size of 4 metres by 8.4 metres. The cost of hiring both rooms is discounted appropriately.
Cost per hour: £15.00
Wifi
All rooms are linked to our fast Wi-Fi for streaming services. We provide access to BBC iPlayer as we hold the appropriate licence, however you will require your own account for access to other streaming services if required.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and can be used by users with prior agreement. Should you wish to use this facility please ensure you discuss this with our Centre Manager prior to booking.
Portable Loop System
In addition to our main hall fixed loop system, we have a small portable loop system that can be used in the smaller rooms. Please discuss this with our Centre Manager at the time of booking
