NEW! Less is More – Under 2’s Play Session Tuesday 5, 12, 19, 20 November, 10.00 am – 10.45 am
A safe, quiet space for your baby to explore their world with simple play objects and an opportunity for you to observe and be fully present with your baby. Cost: £4 per session, or £3 if you book all four sessions. Discount for siblings. Places are very limited so please book ahead! Contact Jaclyn ( or via Facebook Life through little eyes.

NEW! Improving Relationships – Master Programme Starts Wednesday 6 November, 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm
Do you need to rekindle your relationship? Are you single and looking for your special someone? Are your kids giving you a hard time? Is there tension with family members? Is your work environment unsatisfying? Are you looking for self-growth and improvement? The Improving Relationships Master Programme run by life coach Mina Muresan will give you tools and techniques to help with all these areas and more. Just one hour a week will help you create successful, sustainable and meaningful relationships.

Needle Felting Christmas workshop Saturday 7 December 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
Under the guidance of felt and fibre artist Tina Cross, you’ll make your own beautiful Christmas-themed needle felt creation …. ideal for a special gift or decoration. Tina is a member of international Felt Makers Association and you can see examples of her work at

Parking: if Citizens House car park is full, there’s a free car park round the corner at Sherburn Terrace or on the side streets opposite. The Medical Centre gates are locked outside surgery/pharmacy hours  – if your car gets locked in, it cannot be released till the following morning (or Monday morning, if it gets locked in on a Saturday).

On-site cafe: the Oasis for Life cafe at Citizens House is open weekdays 9 am till 3 pm, and is ideal for lunch, drinks and snacks before or after a class or activity, or perhaps just for coffee & cake while your child is attending a workshop.
